Information collected when you bid for a property

 

The information you have provided in making a housing application is legally managed by the Borough or Housing Association you have applied to. It can be made available to your own landlord, medical assessors or fraud prevention services for the purpose of verifying your details and circumstances. 

If you bid for a property owned by a Housing Association or any other landlord than the one you are registered with, some of your relevant personal information may be made available to them. If you are a successful bidder, details will be provided to allow the landlord to contact you and confirm your suitability for the property. Making a bid for a property is seen as your consent for this information to be passed onto the other landlord. Without this information, they would be unable to process the application. Please contact the council or housing association you are registered with. 

We may also aggregate statistics that we gather about the visitors to the Site, traffic patterns, and services and provide these statistics to third parties; however, when we do, these statistics will not include any personal information that identifies individuals. 

We may also use, disclose and communicate your personal information if required to do so by law including by an order of any court. Although we use all reasonable means to ensure that the information you provide to us is not used by third parties for purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy, Home Connections Lettings LTD is not responsible for any improper use of your personal information that is beyond our reasonable control.
