Home Connections is now offering its partners the opportunity to advertise accessible and general needs properties through the “Looking Local” National DigiTV service. This is a text-based channel that can be accessed through the red button on your TV remote control. The new channel allows home seekers the chance to view and bid for properties advertised through our choice based lettings service. The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is the first London borough to offer this service and went live in July 2008. The extensive level of feedback provided through the web has been carried through to our DigiTv plug in, providing users an upfront view of their chances of being rehoused and enabling the landlord to manage expectations
